Legs a little tired from two days of speed. Didn't push it today, kept it nice and easy.

Had to run at 6:00am, I was proud of myself. Had to go to work early this morning.

Nothing fast, but steady. The dog didn't know what to think about running while it was still dark.

A bit faster then yesterday. Didn't have to start so early. Ended up running a few miles at marathon pace, felt pretty relaxed. 7 miles.

Did another 3 with the wife and kid. Nice and easy cool down.

I was a little depressed this morning, not being able to run the Butch Cassidy 10k (it was full). I had a pretty good run. It was smooth and pretty effortless, I managed to keep a pretty good pace. My easy miles were right in between easy and marathon pace. It made me wonder how well I would have raced today. I did 10.04 miles with the dog and then ran with the family.

I started out to do the normal 3 miles with my wife, but my 6 year old (whitney) who is normally in school wanted to go too. She started out riding her bike, but couldn't keep up because of the hills. I told my wife to go on ahead while I ran back to the house while Whitney rode her bike. We dropped the bike off and Whitney wanted to run out to mom, so we did. When we saw her coming back, we turned around so mom wouldn't beat us home. Whitney ran a total of 2 miles with me and we managed to beat mom. I promised Whitney a Polly Pocket at the store next time, if she beat mom. Mom was trying to catch us, but Whitney ran her last .25 at a 7:20 mile pace to take the victory.

Didn't have to work today, so I slept in and ran late this morning. I was well rested and it felt easy. I didn't take it too fast, I'm doing speed tomorrow.

Did the first 8 miles with the dog and the last 3.02 with the wife and kid. She ran surprising fast today for a woman thats on her fifth month of pregnancy.

3 easy miles followed by 3 miles of mile repeats. By the second 2 of mile repeats, my short legged dog was dead on his feet and couldn't keep up, so he stayed home for the remainder. Being faster then a short legged dog makes me feel superior some how. Everyone rates their sucess differently I guess.

Mile repeats:

Mile one 5:39

Mile two 5:25

Mile three 5:13

I felt like I could have gone faster, but fast enough for where I want to be in my training right now.

Cooled down with another three miles of running with my wife and pushing the baby jogger.

Stiff and sore from yesterdays speed. Took it pretty easy.

Got up too early and ran. Had an early work meeting in Cedar this morning. Glad I got the run in. It was dark the whole way.

Didn't feel like running this morning. Almost thought about not doing it, way too cold. Finally got up earlier then normal and just did it. Ran 8 miles with dog at comfortable pace.

Did another 3 with wife and baby jogger. Pretty good mileage for almost not going, glad I went.

Another easy 5 miles. I'm down South all week for some law enforcement training. I have to travel at about 5:30am in the morning to get there and don't get home every night until after dark. It's kind of been cramping my style because, all I've been thinking about is lost miles. I guess every now and again work does come first.

Got home a little earlier tonight. I still had to run in the dark, but I got to got a little farther. I took the dog with me for the first time in four runs, he chased deer the whole time.

I haven't got to run with my wife all week because of training. Can't wait until next week, so I can get back on my normal schedule. I hate running in the evening.

Ran a little farther today. I'm finally done with my crazy week of training. It's going to be good to get back to a normal running schedule again.

Ran the first 8 at an easy pace, pushed the last 2.

Did some nasty hills today, I was partied out at the end. I'm going to eat myself sick tomorrow for Thanksgiving.

Pretty good 8 mile run. I just assumed I would feel like a slug and have trouble running the whole way, because of the over indulgence of yesterdays feast. I surprisingly ran very well and kept a nice smooth pace just shy of marathon pace.

It felt good running off all that turkey and stuffing. The dog on the other hand did not have a good run. He must of ate every bone in the turkey yesterday and he was hurting this morning.

Freezing cold this morning, had on all the winter running gear!! I could see the dogs breath. I must have counted 50 deer this morning on my run, and some pretty good size bucks. Living in the sticks has it's pros.

I took it fairly easy today, just a nice 10 miler for the joy of running. I feel a little guilty about not running on Thanksgiving, but I'll get over it.

Pretty cold. First time I've ran with my wife in two weeks. We ran a total of three mile together. She's now 20 weeks along. I wonder how long she'll be able to run before the baby comes.

Did another eight miles by myself and the dog. It was dang windy. I guess it's going to snow tomorrow.

Got up a little earlier this morning and to no surprise, it was snowing!!! Not running only crossed my mind briefly. I played with only running half as far in my mind, but managed to go all eight. Running in the snow isn't too bad, you stay drier then in the rain. I felt bad for the dog and didn't make him run.

My wife said pregnant women don't have to run in the snow and stayed home. I guess she has a good excuse.

WOW!!

It was cold!!!!! I was rather proud of myself running in that crazy weather yesterday. It was like 8 degrees with the wind chill factor when I ran. I didn't go quite as far, but I figured it was better then nothing.

8 miles in the cold and dark. It wasn't nearly as cold as yesterday, so I survived.
