15  miles this evening.  Just got home from Hawaii. Jet lag, a weeks worth of loose liven, self glutteny at sea level made for a slow, sluggish run.  I made it, nothing to talk about.

Time to get back in the grove, I don't know if I have enough time to get back what I lost before I have to start my tapper again.  I'll give it a shot.

15 miles at 6:00 am.  A pretty good run.  I haven't felt this good for about a month.  It was nice to see that I've still got some gas in the tank and haven't lost too much speed, with about a month of not doing any.

3 mile warm up followed by speed mile repeats.  First mile at 5:53, nothing too exciting, but it felt easy and I was playing it safe. 2nd speed mile at 5:47, starting to open up a little.  3rd speed mile at 5:36, feeling pretty dang good, very surprised.  4th speed mile at 5:37.

Did a few recover miles and finished the workout with 2 miles at tempo speed, first mile at 6:10 and last mile at 5:34, 2.12 miles for a average speed of 5:49 for the last 2.12.

Very happy with the results.  I'll keep on running and see where I can get in 6 weeks, granted 3 weeks of that is going to be tapper down.  I got back a little of the mojo today anyway.

No pain I thinks the legs are healed.

15 miles new pair of Vomeros.  I was in St. George and was going to purchase my favorite running shoe, the Nimbus, but when I got to Steve's store it was cleared out, empty.  Does anyone know where he moved it to.  I had to settle for Nike Vomero at Rebel Sports.
