-Distance running as of 2001 -11 total marathons -Boston Marathon (2006) -10k PR 33:55 -1/2 marathon PR 1:16:57 -Marathon PR (2006 St. George 2:45:09) -5k PR (Don't know, hate the distance)

Short-Term Running Goals:

-Compete in the Utah Half Triathlon!!

Did it, what a great challenge!!

Ramp up my weekly mileage.

PR at the St. George Marathon in 2009.  Didn't make the Lottery.  Doing the Top Of Utah instead.  It's a 4:30 minute tougher race.  I Still hope to PR!!

Long-Term Running Goals:

-Be a life time runner for the love of running.  Mix it up.  Try something new.  Do a full Iron Man. 

Personal:

Married for 11 years!!  I have 3 daughters.  My wife runs marathons as well.  I'm a park ranger.

The 11 mile days have officially started!!!!!  A good slow run.  I was kind of sick today, just took it easy.  11 miles feel like 10.

Another 11 miles today.  Feeling a little better.  I woke up and realized it was a speed day!!  I hate speed days.  3 mile warm up first speed mile @ 5:49, second speed mile @ 5:39.  Ran a tempo slower mile and finished out with a slower pace.

11 miles this morning. Still a little under the weather. On a better note, my fat butt is starting to loose weight again, 149lbs and slimming!!!

Push and sit ups, weights and heavy bag.

11 miles today. A tempo day. I hate speed and tempo work, but I know it's the only way to get faster. A 3 mile tempo in the middle of the workout @ 6:11 per mile. It didn't feel too fast. I felt like I could have gone faster, but my plan is baby steps to avoid injury.

11 mile morning.  Nothing exciting about it, just putting in the miles.  Average pace 7:30 for the duration.  Kind of a rest day today.  Hit the heavy bag, push and sit ups and weights.

12 miles today!! A very slow, but nice distance to a week filled with miles. I'm happy with the way the week went, I've been sick, but I'm feeling better.
